Privacy Policy

Staaacked ("the App") is designed with your privacy as the highest priority. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not transmit or collect personal information on any server accessible to the developer. All of the following data is stored only on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud storage.

Photos — Progress photos taken in the App are stored in the App's private storage area on your device.
Weight and body fat percentage — Body data you enter is stored only on your device.
App settings — Preferences such as playback speed are stored on your device.

2. Face and Body Landmark Data

To help you take and compare progress photos with consistent framing, the App detects facial and body landmarks on your device.

What is collected — The face bounding box, head rotation angles, 2D coordinates of facial landmarks (eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, and face contour), and body joint position coordinates. This is numeric coordinate data only. It is not a facial image, and it is not a facial recognition template or biometric identifier capable of identifying a person.
How it is used — Solely to display an on-screen alignment guide while you take a new photo so it matches your earlier photos, and to align photos when generating comparison images and time-lapse videos. It is never used for identification, authentication, advertising, marketing, or analytics.
Where it is processed — Landmark detection runs entirely on your device using Google ML Kit's on-device model. No photos or landmark data are ever sent to any external server for detection.
Storage and sharing — Landmark data is stored alongside its photo on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, it is also stored in your own private iCloud storage (CloudKit private database), which no third party — including the developer — can access. Landmark data is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party.
Retention — Landmark data is retained only as long as its associated photo exists. Deleting a photo deletes its landmark data (including the copy in iCloud), and deleting the App deletes all data on your device.

3. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your photos, landmark data, and album information are stored in your own private iCloud storage via Apple's CloudKit and synced across devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Data is synced to your own iCloud, not to any server accessible to the developer.
Data stored in iCloud is handled in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Health (HealthKit) Data

Only with your explicit permission, the App reads and writes weight and body fat percentage data to Apple Health.

HealthKit data is used only for display and recording on your device.
HealthKit data is never sent to external servers, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or marketing.
You can revoke access at any time in the Settings app.

5. Camera Access

The App uses the camera to take progress photos. Photos are never sent anywhere without your action.

6. Purchase Information

Purchases of the subscription (Staaacked Pro) are processed through Apple's App Store. The developer never has access to payment information such as credit card details. For how purchase information is handled, please see Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Third Parties and Analytics

The App does not use advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking technologies. Your data is never sold or provided to third parties.

8. Data Deletion

Your data is stored on your device and, if iCloud sync is enabled, in your own iCloud. Deleting a photo removes it and its landmark data from both your device and iCloud. Deleting the App removes all data stored on your device. Data written to Apple Health can be deleted individually from the Health app.

9. Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this policy will be announced on this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the App.
